Draping Spanish moss hangs from the live oaks that shade this path on Ossabaw Island. A visitor can only experience the wildness of Ossabaw by boat and special permission from the Ossabaw Island Foundation- making this journey all the more memorable.

Every New Year’s Day, we host a big oyster roast for friends and family! These freshly harvested oysters, straight from the marsh beds, wait on a bed of ice until it’s time to cook. We steam them under a burlap sack, then roast them to perfection on a steel plate over the fire.
